A stylist changed outfits six times at her own wedding
Briana Andalore fitted pieces she had collected for years into a single day. We thought about the common thread for a bride whose look changes all day.

Stylist Briana Andalore, who works with Julia Fox and SZA, married real-estate developer Payam Panahi in New Jersey, on the groom’s family estate. Through the day she wore six different vintage and custom looks; the groom changed twice.
Andalore started collecting some pieces years ago, before they were even engaged. The day’s third look was an Alexander McQueen dress she won at an auction in the middle of the night four years earlier. The ceremony dress came last-minute: she sent mood boards to five designers and chose Viktor & Rolf from the sketches. Ruffles, volume, bows and a romance that recalls the Victorian era.
The article’s real message is that a wedding day doesn’t have to fit into a single look. The ceremony, dinner, dancing and the end of the night are separate moments, and each deserves its own outfit.
This approach is familiar in Turkey too: a bindallı at the henna night, another look for the civil ceremony, another for the wedding. The more outfits there are, the harder it becomes to build a sense of unity in the photos.
When outfits change all day, the accessory carries the common thread. One pattern can sit somewhere different in each look: in the hair at the ceremony, on the wrist at dinner, on the bag handle while dancing. The outfit changes, the story stays the same.
