Getting ready in front of the mirror, the streets of Galata and polaroids at dawn.

The wedding was two weeks away. The bridesmaids whisked the bride off to Galata on a Saturday night. There was one shared rule: the burgundy star pattern, each in her own style.

1/4The mirror before heading out. I wore it at my neck, Ece in her hair, Zeynep on her wrist.
2/4Walking to Galata. The scarves looked even better over our jackets.

The best moment of the night?

3/4The moment we stopped in the middle of the street and hugged. Nobody had stopped for a photo.
4/4The polaroids and the scarf we spread on the table at dawn. They’re all on the bride’s fridge now.
